At DD_Management our mission is to invite everyone - our team, guests, vendors, and communities to
Sit at Our Table.
We don't rely on static values - we share real stories that reflect who we are and how we work.
These value stories define DD_Management. Pull up a chair and be part of them.
We live by three principles:
Be Great
Make it fun
Keep progressing
Every Customer is a Kim
Kim came through our drive-thru at 9:01 p.m.—one minute after closing—on the day she lost her sister. Expecting to be turned away, she was instead greeted by a warm voice and a manager who made her laugh when she thought she couldn't. It was exactly what she needed. Customers are always first. No matter the hour or circumstance, we look for 'Kim moments'—opportunities to show up, go the extra mile, and brighten someone's day
Fix Your Teammate's Ears
When Jimmy John visited our first Fort Union store, he noticed an employee with large ear gauges. After learning the employee regretted them and wished they could be fixed, Jimmy found the best surgeon in Utah and paid for the repair. We believe in supporting our teammates and helping them see what's possible. This is more than a paycheck—it's about growth, pride, and being part of a winning team. If we can help, we do.
Worth more than $20
One of our managers started with just a $20 bill, no job, and a baby on the way. What began as a short-term solution became a career through hard work, invested leaders, and consistent performance. He advanced, became the sole provider for his family, and changed his future. Here, effort is noticed, growth is real, and opportunities can change lives.
Happy Independence Day
On the Fourth of July, a manager chose to work the closing shift to train a teammate instead of watching fireworks. A customer asked why everyone seemed so happy to be working that day. The answer is simple: we enjoy what we do. We have fun, we support each other, and we take pride in getting better—together.
Even Danny Cleans Up Puke
During a lunch rush in Vernal, a customer's child got sick. Danny, one of the owners, grabbed the mop and handled it himself. No job is beneath anyone here. We're one team. When something needs to be done, we do it—quickly, efficiently, and with a smile.
