Who We Are

DD_Management began with a friendship and a shared belief that hard work, competition, and service could build something lasting. Darin and Danny met while serving an LDS mission in Texas and bonded over their drive to perform and make a difference. While studying accounting and finance at Brigham Young University, they realized the corporate path wasn’t for them. They scraped together everything they had to open their first Jimmy John’s in Midvale, Utah, a location where other restaurants had failed. Paying themselves an $18,000 annual salary and working open to close they learned the business from the ground up, grew sales above national averages, and opened a second high-volume store just 13 months later. 

Today, DD_Management includes 35+ Jimmy John’s locations, investments in Viva Chicken, Outdoor Elements, Cox Climate Control, and a diverse real estate portfolio.
