Who We Are
DD_Management began with a friendship and a shared belief that hard work, competition, and service could build something lasting. Darin and Danny met while serving a mission in Texas and bonded over their drive to perform and make a difference. While studying accounting and finance, they realized the corporate path wasn’t for them, so they scraped together everything they had to open their first Jimmy John’s in Midvale, Utah, a location where others had failed. Paying themselves $18,000 and working open to close they learned the business from the ground up, grew sales above national averages, and opened a second high-volume store just 13 months later.
Today, DD_Management includes 35+ Jimmy John’s locations, Starbird Chicken franchises, investments in Viva Chicken, Outdoor Elements, and Cox Climate Control, and a diverse real estate portfolio.
